Make sure that your character is free from the love of money.
Hebrews 13:5 cautions us about money. It says, Make sure that your character is free from the love of money (NASB). Here are three easy tests to see if in fact your character is free from the love of money? Test #1: I gladly share anything and everything I have with anyone who needs it or wants it. The attitude of, “What is mine is yours and you can have it.” Test #2: I am not emotionally troubled when I lose any of my stuff. The attitude of, “Easy come, easy go.” Test #3: I am content with little or much. The attitude of, “I came into this world broke; I will leave it the same way.” If you didn’t pass all three of these tests, maybe you should consider a character check. Think about it.
